Anna Medlock Parmenter, 95, daughter of James Medlock and Ellen Blankenship Medlock, was born Oct. 16, 1908, at Houston. She died Oct. 11, 2004, at Heritage Park Nursing Home at Rolla.She married Roy Parmenter Dec. 19, 1926. They had two children and parented two nephews, Norman West and Roy Van West, and a niece, Twila Mercer.The Parmenters were married 46 years before his death in 1972. Mrs. Parmenter was a homemaker and seamstress. She was active in the First Baptist Church of Houston.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews.Surviving are her daughter, Thelma Brown of Rolla; her son, Lonnie Parmenter of Springfield; niece, Twila Mercer of Cabool; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.Services were Oct. 14 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ben Gard and the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery. “
