Gerald Richard Noirfalise, 75, son of Harold Francis Noirfalise and Veva Gutshald Allen, was born April 19, 1929, at Joliet, Ill. He died Oct. 11, 2004, in Springfield following a short illness.He married Mary Elizabeth Reinbrecht May 1, 1953, at Elgin, Ill. They had six children.Mr. Noirfalise served in the Korean War for five years and was awarded several medals.He spent five years working at Producers Inc. in Evansville, Ind., and a number of years at American Dairy in Evansville.The Noirfalises moved to Houston Aug. 6, 1978. Since that time he worked for Romines Ford Lincoln Mercury.He was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where he was an usher for several years.His hobby was flying model airplanes, winning several trophies over the years.He was preceded in death by a son, William Gilbert Noirfalise.Surviving are his wife of the home; four daughters, Debbie Noirfalise of Bull Shoals, Ark., Evelyn Dillman of Success, Cathy Taylor of Richland City, Ind., and Diane Hillard of Fort Branch, Ind.; one son, Harold Noirfalise of Joplin; four sisters, Carol Smith of Woodridge, Ill., Sarah Jo Littlefield of Elizabeth City, N.C., Helen Frances Sexton of Charleston, S.C., and Ella Claire Williams of Sunrise, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.Services are 10 o’clock Saturday at the Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Wesley Wallace and the Rev. Brad Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.Visitation is 6 to 8 o’clock Friday evening at the Evans chapel.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northside Baptist Church. “
