Edward “”Ed”” Junior Evans, 79, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Caleb Evans, was born March 13, 1925, at Signal Hills, Calif. He died Nov. 5, 2004, at San Antonio, Texas.As a boy, he and his brother and three sisters were raised by their aunt and uncle, Ethel and Charlie Dixon. They lived east of Licking and attended the Licking Schools.He married Geraldine Marie Rainey Aug. 1, 1942, in St. Louis. They had four children.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two infant daughters and his brother, Everett “”Roy”” Evans.Surviving are his son, Edward C. Evans of Raymondville; daughter, Deborah Lemburg of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Mina Kontz of O’Fallon, Alma Williams of Sullivan and Charlene West of St. Charles; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. “
