Carol Keith Hasty Reaves, 80, daughter of James G. and Blanche Martin Hasty, was born Sept. 17, 1924, at Cabool. She died Dec. 8, 2004, at her home at Cabool.She graduated from Cabool High School in 1942 and moved to Wichita, Kan. She worked as a “”Rosie the Riveter”” for Boeing, building B-29s for World War II. She later moved to Washington, D.C., to work for the war effort.She married Glen W. Reaves Jan. 22, 1950, in Los Angeles, Calif., and returned to Cabool, where she lived until her death.She was a long-time member of the Cabool Christian Church and enjoyed being active in community activities.She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years; her parents; and brothers, Darrell and Merle Hasty.Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Miller of Savannah, Tenn., and Jill Sanders of Springfield; sister, Mary Edna Hasty of Cabool; and two grandchildren.Services were Dec. 11 at the Cabool Christian Church with Bob Martin officiating. Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Cabool Christian Church. “
