HAROLD HERIFORD

Harold V. Heriford, 78, son of Martin and Marjorie DeWeese Heriford, was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Kansas City, Kan. He died Dec. 10, 2004, at Licking Park Manor in Licking.He worked for many years with his father in a metal company in Granite City, Ill. He worked at the sheltered workshop in Summersville and for 16 years at the Opportunity Sheltered Workshop in Houston.He was a member of the Baptist church and later joined the Raymondville United Methodist Church. He loved Sunday School and church.After the death of his parents, he lived with his Aunt Hazel and Uncle Andy Johnson.He lived at the residential care for many years until three months ago, when he went to Licking Park Manor.He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, who died at birth.Surviving are cousins.Services were Dec. 13 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Carter officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery. “
