Wilmert Bruce “”Bill”” Cook, 70, son of Clarence E. Cook and Fern E. Lipscomb Cook, was born Sept. 20, 1934, at Battle Creek, Mich. He died Jan. 14, 2005, at the Harry S Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.He served in the Air Force from Aug. 22, 1952, until he was honorably discharged Feb. 6, 1956, during the Korean War.A Licking area resident, he married Linda S. Cook June 21, 1991.He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors.He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Garth Cook.Surviving are his daughters, Donna Cook of Arkansas, Lahne Cook of Minnesota and Tammy Cook; stepdaughter, Debra Allison of Missouri; stepson, Tony Dean of Missouri; sister, Jackie of Michigan; three grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and dear friends, Paul, Jean and Bernice Morrison of Missouri.Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with Ames D. Clevenger officiating. “
