Brown Lou Brown, 63, daughter of Coy and Mary Roeder Kirk, was born Jan. 5, 1942, at Maples. She died Jan. 27, 2005, at her home at Yukon.She graduated from Licking High School in 1959 and worked for The Licking News until her marriage to Lloyd Brown Jan. 1, 1966.They established their home at Keenview Farms at Yukon. She was a member of the Raymondville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, serving in several positions on the local, district and state levels.Mrs. Brown was active in the Blue Heaven Club and Houston Garden Club, where she shared gardening tips and plant cuttings.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leo, Leland and Harold Kirk; and an infant sister, Myrtle Mahale Kirk.Surviving are her husband of the home; two sons, Michael of Lakenheath, England, and Wesley of Nixa; one daughter, Annette Bradley of Sikeston; one brother, George Kirk of West Plains; and 10 grandchildren.Services were Jan. 30 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Carter officiating. Burial was in the Hutchason Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Care. “
