Dorthy Jean Steelman, 65, daughter of Arthur Plowman and Delphia Rightnowar Plowman, was born Sept. 5, 1939, at Summersville. She died March 24, 2005, at Houston House Nursing Center.She married Paul Steelman Dec. 10, 1960. They had two children.Mrs. Steelman accepted Christ in 1970 at the First Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pauline Plowman, Maxine Clark and Alta Tuttle; and brother, Kenneth Plowman.Surviving are her husband of Summersville; daughter, Paulette Waver of Mountain View; son, Curtis Steelman of Yukon; sister, Lorene Moses of Houston; and five grandchildren.Services were March 26 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery at Hartshorn. “
