Leroy H. Anika, 75, son of Chester and Mayme Anika, was born Nov. 26, 1929, at Kansas City. He died March 18, 2005, at his home at Fort Myers, Fla.He grew up in the Clara community and was a 1947 graduate of Houston High School.He served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and retired as an over-the-road truck driver and security guard.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leland Anika; and a half brother, Virgil Anika.Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Ruby Hinton Anika; two sons, Norman Anika of DeRidder, La., and Larry Anika of Austin. Texas; two sisters, Janet Sillyman of Houston and Nancy Halford of Batesville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home of Fort Myers, Fla. “
