Sears Pearson, the third of six children of Burley A. and Minnie V. Dye, was born at Waynesville. She died March 29, 2005, at Wyoming Medical Center.She graduated from Houston High School and worked as a nanny until she turned 18. She then worked in the war plants during World War II.In 1945, she married Alonzo Sears and moved to Midwest, Wyo. He died in 1971 after 26 years of marriage.Mrs. Pearson was a waitress and cook in Midwest for many years.In 1976, she married Carl Pearson. He also died.She spent many hours taking her grandchildren to ride their horses. She loved to sew and spend time with young people.In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lindy.Surviving are her daughter, Patty Galligher; son, Tony Sears; brother, Burton; three sisters, Flora, Vivian and Bonnie; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A memorial reception was April 9 at Holiday Inn Express in Wyoming. The body was cremated. Private services are planned at a later date. “
