Erva Marie Brake, 77, daughter of Urban Lee and Sophie Anna DeWeese, was born Nov. 8, 1927, at Mendon. She died April 3, 2005, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. She lived at Licking and attended the First Baptist Church in Licking.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Brake; daughter, Phyllis Marie Brake; and two brothers, Lloyd DeWeese and W. E. “”Dub”” DeWeese.Surviving are her three sons, Larry Brake of Dickson, Tenn., Darrell Brake of Brighton, and Dwayne Brake of Rapid City, Iowa; one sister, Rosalee Smith of Licking; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.Services were April 8 at the First Baptist Church in Licking with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the Licking Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston. “
