Dorothy Dye Sears Pearson, 82, third of six children of Burley A. and Minnie V. Dye, was born May 30, 1922, at Waynesville. She died March 29, 2005, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo.After graduating from Houston High School in 1939, she worked as a nanny until she was 18. She then began working in the war plants during World War II.In 1945, she married Alonzo Sears of Houston. They moved to Midwest, Wyo. Mr. Sears died in 1971 after 26 years of marriage.She married Carl Pearson in 1976, who also preceded her in death.Mrs. Pearson spent many hours taking her grandchildren to ride their horses. She loved to sew and spend time with young people.In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lyndy.Surviving are her daughter, Patty Gallinger; son, Tony Sears; one brother, Alfie Burton Dye of Columbia; three sisters, Flora Blythe of St. Peters, Vivian Headley of Fort Washington, Md., and Bonnie Seelye of Pekin, Ill.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held later in the summer at the Sears Cemetery at Houston.Memorials may be made to a church or charity of the donor’s choice. “
