Virgil G. Anderson, 63, son of Luther A. and Eathel Anderson, died May 15, 2005.A former resident of Texas County, he lived at Cullman, Ala. A lifetime logger, he operated Dodge City Wood Yard for 11 years with John Guthrie.He was a member of the East Cullman Church of Christ.He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Goldie Wallace and Doris Anderson; and brother, Bob Anderson.Surviving are his wife, Porsia Ballard Anderson; daughters, Kim Burdick, Kerrie McCluskey and Roxie Holland; son, Steve Anderson; brothers, Eudell Anderson and James Anderson; sisters, Beverly Kizer, Rosie Ballard and Genevieve Ellis; a special brother, friend and son, John Dean Meyer; “”pinkie daughter
