Ivan Shelton, 80, was born Oct. 5, 1924. He died July 5, 2005, at his home in Texas County.He married Edith Moore Oct. 4, 1947.Mr. Shelton served his country in World War II. He was preceded in death by seven sisters and an infant brother.Surviving are his wife; one stepdaughter, Mary Trejo of El Paso, Texas; one son, Neil Shelton of Willow Springs; one sister, Beulah Deyo of St. Paul, Min.; one brother, Delbert Shelton of Castle Rock, Wash.; four grandchildren, one step-grandson and two great-granddaughters,.Graveside services were July 7 at the Cabool Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Norris officiating under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool. “
