William L. Altman, 59, son of Manual Altman and Helen Vestal Martin, was born July 26, 1945, at Los Angeles, Calif. He died July 12, 2005, at his home in Houston.A former driver for the Salvation Army, he worked at the Opportunity Sheltered Industries workshop in Houston.Surviving are one son, Billy Altman of Houston; two brothers, Elwin O. Altman of Houston and Lawrence Altman of St. Louis; and a sister, Josephine Troncale of California.The body was cremated under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.No services are planned. “
