William Fred Vandervoort, 76, son of Ellis and Ona Vandervoort, was born April 25, 1929. He died Aug. 4, 2005.A former resident of the Raymondville area, he lived at O’Fallon. He was a member of the Wellston Masonic Lodge, past worthy patron of Rob Morris Order of Eastern Star, past associate guardian of Bethel #4 of Job’s Daughters and the Odd Fellows.He was preceded in death by his sisters, Maxine Litzler and Pauline Burke; and a brother, Edward Vandervoort.Surviving are his wife, Lockie Vandervoort; daughters, Linda, Connie and Lynn; son, John Gilford; sister, Lela Bumpas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Services were Aug. 8 at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center at St. Charles. Burial was in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens.Memorials may be made to Shilo Children’s Home or Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children. “
