Jim Chapman, 69, son of Louis F. and Marcella M. O’Keefe Chapman, was born Aug. 19, 1936, in St. Louis. He died Aug. 27, 2005, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.He married Shirley Lavonne Lewis April 1, 1958, at Licking. They had three children.Mr. Chapman enjoyed woodworking, gardening and being outdoors.He married Nancy Campbell Viscioni in June 2002 at Houston.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley; son, Jimmy M. “”Mike”” Chapman; sisters, Marcella Mader, Cleo Slaski, Lorraine Eaves and Velma Spruil; his parents, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.Surviving are his wife, Nancy of Houston; sons, Robert D. Lyons and Mark C. Chapman of Licking; daughter, Pamela A. Chapman of Licking; stepchildren, Madeline Rock of Las Vegas, Nev., Donna Gibby, Mary Lee Viscioni and Phillip Viscioni II of Houston and Debra Pardon of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Lois Freeman of Mountain Grove; brothers, Louis J. Chapman and Joseph L. Chapman of Edgar Springs; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his step-grandchildren.Graveside services were Aug. 30 at the Chapman/Freeman Cemetery near Lenox with David Gidcumb officiating under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking. “
