Ruth May Wynn Schettler Nunn, 70, daughter of William and Hazel Wynn, was born April 10, 1935, at McAlister, Okla. She died Oct. 16, 2005, after a long battle with ovarian cancer.Mrs. Nunn lived in California, where she was a bookkeeper. She moved to Licking in 1991, where she retired as a homemaker. She belonged to the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars. One of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo and games with her family.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold “”Bud”” Bernard Schettler; three sisters and a brother.Surviving are her husband, Tom Nunn of the home at Licking; three daughters, Sherron Goossen of Elk River, Minn., Terri Simonsen of Bonham, Texas, and Debbie Campoy of Farmington, Calif.; a son, Harold “”Bubba”” Schettler Jr. of Licking; a sister, Louise Follmar of Fenton; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and her beloved dogs, Charlie and Rambo.Services are 11 o’clock today (Thursday) at the First Baptist Church in Licking with Dr. Wilbur Mobley officiating. Burial will be in the Licking Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. “
