Cleora Annie Eliza Whitworth, 87, daughter of Lee and Myrtle Evans Miller, was born Nov. 22, 1917, at Medina, Texas. She died Nov. 1, 2005, at the Hartville Care Center at Hartville.She graduated from Medina High School. A couple of years later, she married Tom Whitworth Aug. 19, 1937, at Junction, Texas. They had two children.The Whitworths lived on a ranch in Texas. In 1966, they moved to the Plato area, purchasing a farm and raising beef cattle.Mrs. Whitworth was a great cook, enjoyed sewing and growing flowers and spent hours roaming the Ozark hills looking for arrowheads.She attended the Plato Christian Church.She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Thelma, Beulah, Lutie and Virginia; and two brothers, Tom and Jessie, who drowned as a youth.Surviving are her husband of 68 years; one son, Wayne of Plato; one daughter, Sharon Ichord of Plato; one sister, Syble Raffone of Corpus Christie, Texas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Services were Nov. 3 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Eugene Earp officiating. Burial was in the Embree Cemetery. “
