William Frank Miles, 76, son of Clarence Otis Miles and Zora Mae Ward Miles, was born Feb. 5, 1929, at Roubidoux. He died Nov. 11, 2005, at his home at Blue Springs.He married Peggy Claudine Byrd April 29, 1948, in Independence.Mr. Miles retired from Armco Steel Co. in Kansas City as a foreman. He was later a real estate salesman for Arrowhead Real Estate at Holden and Century 21 in Lee’s Summit. He was a former resident of Kingsville.Mr. Miles was a member of House of Prayer Fellowship at Lone Jack.He was preceded in death by his wife Jan. 2, 1994; two sisters, Irene and Lorene; and three brothers, Lloyd, Calvin and Howard.Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Elliott of Pittsburg, Kan., and Sheila Gardner of Independence; a son, Garry Miles of Independence; brother, Dewayne Miles of Rolla; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Services were Nov. 15 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel at Holden with Barry Westwood officiating. Burial was in the Kingsville Cemetery. “
