Luther Leophis Clark, 79, son of Nubern and Janie Homser Clark, was born Aug. 22, 1926, at Lepanto, Ark. He died Nov. 26, 2005.He served in the Army from 1944 to 1947. He was a paratrooper/rifle marksman and served in Akita, Japan. He received a World War II Victory Medal, a Japan Occupation Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon.He retired from RCA after work¬ing 33 years.He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Malcome Clark; one daughter, Sherri Clark; one sister, Dorthry; and two brothers, Leon and Eton.Surviving are a special friend, Shirley J. Sullins Settlemire and her children, Dianna North, Kathy Sullins, David Sullins and Kelly Joehrs; sons, Lee Clark of Ione, Calif., Kevin Clark of Spokane, Wash., Dan Bill of Sutter, Calif., George Bill of Woodland, Calif.; daughters, Suzann Clark of Ohio, Debbie Bill of California and Diana Bruhr of Elberta, Ala.; sister, Nita Stoops of Summersville; brother, Argo of Hope, Ark.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Services were Nov. 30 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with Rich Haaland officiating. Burial with full military honors was in the Craddock Cemetery. “
