Mary Alta Louise Upton Worlow, 79, daughter of Grover and Pearl Jackson Upton, was born Nov. 10, 1926, at Upton. She died Dec. 24, 2005, at Houston.She married Arthur Alfred Worlow Aug. 21, 1945, in St. Charles. They had five children.Mrs. Worlow loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed the simple life, gardening, sunny days and fall colors.She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter; brothers, Everett Upton, Grover Upton Jr., Melvin Upton and Howard Upton; and sisters, Mildred Fair, Margie Upton, Imo Gene Thomas and Maxine Smith.Surviving are three sons, Al Worlow of Perth, Australia, Eddie Worlow of Licking and Danny Worlow of Winnsboro, La.; one daughter, Peggy Worlow of Licking; one sister, Joy Yarbrough of Porterville, Calif.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Services were Dec. 30 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Max Burkhead officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery. “
