Patricia Ann “”Pat”” Shadrick, 59, daughter of Glenn Leo Shadrick and Beulah Elizabeth Belew Shadrick, was born Oct. 24, 1946, at Anchorage, Alaska. She died Dec. 3, 2005, at Houston House Nursing Center.She started first grade in Alaska, moving to Missouri before finishing the year. She and her mother moved in 1952 near Summersville. She graduated from Summersville High School in 1964.After graduation, she worked at Prairie Hollow Enterprise at Eminence for four and a half years. She began working at Brown Shoe Co. in Houston when it opened in 1970. She worked there until it closed in 1992 and went to work at Arlee Home Fashions.She, her mother and uncle moved from the farm at Summersville to Yukon in 1980. She moved to Houston in March 2005.She loved her pets, especially her dogs and cats, planting and taking care of her flowers and garden.She was preceded in death by her parents.Services were Dec. 5 at the Duncan Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with Gary Davenport officiating. Burial was in the Riley Cemetery. “
