BOONE – Louise Henline Stanbery, 78, of Ridge Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006 at her home. A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Dock and Sally Blalock Henline, and wife of the late J.C. Stanbery. She was also preceded in death by a son, Doug Stanbery; five sisters; and two brothers. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethelview United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, JoAnn Townsend of Boone; two sons, Larry and Scott Stanbery, both of Boone; one sister, Brite Lyons of Christiansburg; one brother, Bill Henline of Spruce Pine; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethelview United Methodist Church. The Revs. John Jackson and Allen Marsh officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at Hampton Funeral Service.
