Billie Lee Goins, 78, son of Clifford W. and Mary Wilson Goins, was born July 20, 1928, at Kenwood, Okla. He died March 19, 2007, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
He married Judith Kay Garrison Nov. 27, 1970. They had two children, Bradley and Carrie. He had two children from a previous marriage.
Mr. Goins became a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob and J.W.; and one sister, Geraldine.
Surviving are his wife of the home; sons, William Lee Goins of Americus, Ga., and Bradley Goins of Houston; daughters, Mary Jane Parker of Americus, Ga., and Carrie Lee Gifford of Licking; brothers, Albert Goins of Jay, Okla., and Don Goins of Bremerton, Wash.; sisters, Zella Prather of Bartlesville, Okla., and Shirley Dixon of Jay, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
Services were March 21 at the First Baptist Church in Licking with the Rev. Robert Gifford officiating. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
