Wright Harman “Buddy” Creech Jr., 63, son of Wright Harman Creech Sr. and Eula Creech, was born Jan. 5, 1944, near Licking. He died March 28, 2007, after being in poor health in recent years.
Mr. Creech worked on intercoastal and offshore boats.
He married Zina Cuvillier in 1968. They divorced and he married Linda Vanover in 1977.
He enjoyed playing the harmonica.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Hub and Clara Rogers and Paul and Lucille Creech.
Surviving are his five children, James Creech of Ingleside, Texas, John Paul Creech of Patterson, La., Janet Franolich of Lebanon, Julie Roberts of Potosi and Joshua Creech of Rolla; his mother of Licking; six brothers, Loran Creech of California, Mo., Michael Creech and Joe Creech of Licking, Ronald Creech of Huntsville, Texas, Randy Creech of Marquande and Thomas Creech; sister, Christy Walker of Licking; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services were April 2 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Loran Creech opening and closing.
