Floyd Buckner, 87, son of Sylus and Josephine Buckner, was born May 12, 1919. He died April 12, 2007.

He married Shirley Kiser in 1942. They had three children.

He married Anna M. Mitchell May 4, 1973.

Mr. Floyd was a painter and farmer. He enjoyed bird hunting and spending time with his grandchildren at the farm and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his son, Leroy; and two grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Anna; daughters, Darlene Buckner Reed and Janice Buckner Barwick; stepdaughter, Brenda Mitchell Miller; stepson, Jerry Mitchell; sister, Ova Rice; brothers, Roy Buckner and Ray Buckner; seven grandchildren and12 great-grandchildren.

Services were April 14 at the First Baptist Church in Licking with Dr Wilbur Mobley officiating. Burial was in the Licking City Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
