Thomas Blair Jr., 71, son of Thomas F. Blair and Effie Mincher Blair, was born March 11, 1936, at Washington, Mo. He died April 21, 2007, at his home at Houston.

He married Donna Hebblethewaite. They had three children.

Mr. Blair worked at Brauer Brothers shoe factory in Cabool for 13 years. He and his wife operated an upholstery shop until he became unable to work.

He was converted Dec. 7, 1969, and was a minister. He loved going to Souls Harbor and Faith Fellowship as long as his health permitted, making different things and going to Mayuga Caf/ at the hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Auzzie and Paul; and three sisters, Lucille, Pauline and Louise.

Surviving are his wife; three children, James Blair and Debbie Thompson of Houston and Connie Young of Davenport, Iowa; one brother, Charles “Ted” Blair of Taft, Calif.; one sister, Bonnie Hinkleman of Cabool; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were April 23 at the Boone Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Bythel Friend officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
