Carolyn June Lavely, 70, daughter of Woodrow Wilson Lane and Mandy Mae Matheny Lane, was born Jan. 12, 1937, at Big Sandy, Tenn. She died May 27, 2007, at her home at Hazelwood.
She married Elmer Leon Lavely July 5, 1958. They had three children.
She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed the outdoors and get-togethers with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elwood Lane; and sisters, Betty Mitzel and Frances Noe.
Surviving are her husband of the home; three children, Christina Gress, Leon Lavely Jr. and Steve Lavely of St. Louis; brother, Gary Lane; sisters, Margaret Gill and Luann Hubbard; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were May 29 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with the Rev. Robert Gifford officiating. Burial was in the Licking Cemetery.
