William Emery Frost, 81, son of Jefferson and Manda Dearduff Frost, was born Sept. 29, 1925, at Plato. He died April 29, 2007, at Texas County Memorial Hosptial.
He grew up at Plato, where he attended country schools.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing and was a dog breeder, raising German shepherds for seeing-eye dogs.
He was a member of the Lions Club at Houghton Lake, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Clella Perkins and Ellen Stevens; and one brother, Timothy Frost.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Frost of Columbus, Ohio, and Michael Frost of Australia; a brother, Riley Frost of Roby; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were May 1 at the Lynch Cemetery near Plato with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
