Juanita M. Hubbs Crum, 96, daughter of Robert and Pearlie Cunningham Hubbs, was born Oct. 5, 1910, at Knoxville, Tenn. She died April 26, 2007, at her home at Raymondville under the care of hospice.

She married Hershel Crum Aug. 14, 1926, at Houston. They had 10 children.

Mrs. Crum spent most of her life in and around the Raymondville area, where she moved at age 9.

She loved the outdoors, making flower beds, planting a garden and canning the harvest and cooking for her family, especially for get-togethers.

She was a member of the Full Gospel Mission Church at Raymondville and loved to play the piano and sing with her daughter, Marjorie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; a half sister, Grace; three sons, Carl, Don and Lloyd; and two daughters, Edith and Marjorie.

Surviving are three daughters, Pearl Belgarde of Bakersfield, Calif., Alpha Davis of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Nadine Chambers of Licking; two sons, Elbert Crum of Licking and Bob Crum of Raymondville; 23 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Services were April 30 at the Boone Creek Baptist Church with Lonnie Case officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
