Melissa Hickcox and Jason Affholter were married July 14 at Emmett Kelly Park in Houston.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Todd Hickcox of Houston. The groom’s parents are Geri Davenport of Round Rock, Texas, and Jim and Sheradin Davenport of Independence.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Houston High School.
The couple is serving with the Missouri National Guard. They will make their home at Mount Vernon.
