Archie Ray James, 67, son of Arthur and Lela Belle James, was born April 19, 1940, at Licking. He died Sept. 16, 2007.
Mr. James retired as a journeyman machinist in St. Louis.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by a son, Darryl D. James.
Surviving are his children, Jack James, Jay James and Timothy James of Edgar Springs, Patti Flint, Gary James and Rusty James of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tammy Leon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; brothers, Don, Frank, David and Danny Dean James; sisters, Geraldine Brim, Nadine Cameron, Wilma Gant and Shirley McEntire; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 21 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Everett Perkins officiating. Burial was in the Licking Cemetery.
