Representatives of organizations who have an interest in the economic vitality of Texas County will gather for a summit Oct. 2 at Intercounty Electric Cooperative in Licking.
The noon meeting is part of a process to update the region’s comprehensive economic development strategy, said Johnny Murrell of the South Central Ozark Council of Governments.
Goals and objectives will be developed that would lead to better economic conditions in the county and south-central Missouri, he said.
