A 53-year-old Plato man was killed Friday morning on Highway 17 at the Laclede and Texas county line, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Tpr. Scott Nelson of the patrol said a 2003 Harley Davidson operated by Mark A. Muckerman, 50, was southbound when it ran off the right side of the road into a ditch and overturned several times, ejecting him.
Texas County Coroner Tom Whittaker pronounced Muckerman dead at the scene.
