Roger Dean Hunt, 53, the third son of Robert and Jennie Hunt, was born May 9, 1954, at Windsor. He died Oct. 16, 2007, at the family home at West Plains.
He attended Lincoln High School and Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg.
He married Catherine Ann Proctor April 20, 1973, at Lincoln.
Mr. Hunt was a banker his entire career, spending 20 years with First National Bank Southern Missouri, where he was president and CEO.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Jerry Hunt.
Surviving are his wife of the family home; two children, Brooke Catherine Hunt of Joplin and Jered Roger Hunt of Carl Junction; his father and stepmother, Bethel; brother, John R. Hunt; and one sister, Rhonda Maddux.
Services were Oct. 22 at the First United Methodist Church at West Plains under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial was Oct. 23 at Laurel Oak Cemetery at Windsor.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of West Plains in care of the funeral home.
