Virginia B. Hutsell, 87, daughter of P.J. and Eliaza McRoberts Grimes, was born Oct. 10, 1920, at Worland, Wyo. She died Oct. 18, 2007, at the home of her daughter at Norfork, Ark., after a short illness.
She graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1939. Shortly thereafter, she married Perry Hutsell Aug. 27, 1939, at Mountain Grove. They had one daughter.
The Hutsells owned and operated the Piney Inn in Houston from 1953 to 2003. They spent 50 years renting apartments and hotel rooms.
She was of the Baptist faith and loved to cook and travel.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years; daughter, Patricia Durham of Norfork, Ark.; brother, Glen Grimes of Columbia; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Oct. 20 at Hillcrest Cemetery at Mountain Grove with the Rev. Ed Hamilton officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston.
