Clara Esther Edward McCord, 94, died Oct. 28, 2007, at Graceland Care Center at New Albany, Miss.
She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley McCord; and a grandson.
Surviving are two daughters, Marion Bittle of Cabool and Sherry Morris of Fulton, Miss.; two sons, Bobby McCord and Donald McCord of Oxford, Miss.; one sister, Zula Mae James of Oxford, Miss.; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Oct. 31 at the Waller Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford, Miss., with the Rev. Jimmy Sockwell officiating.
