Kenzie Scott scored eight points and Elizabeth Hayes had seven as Houston rallied past Willow Springs 25-24 in overtime Monday night.

Catlyn Spencer added four for the Lady Tigers, who rallied from an 8-2 first-quarter deficit. Houston out-scored Willow Springs 16-10 in the final three quarters and 7-6 in overtime.

Spencer and Kaitlyn Neal scored nine points apiece in the Lady Tigers’ 32-29 season-opening loss Thursday to Licking.

Houston, which led 22-9 at the half, was just 5-for-18 at the free-throw line.

Elizabeth Hayes scored five of her seven points in the first half. Lauren Wade added four.
