Henry Loyd Gilmore Sr., 79, son of James and Minnie Ritter Gilmore, was born Oct. 10, 1928, at Bunker. He died Oct. 30, 2007, at his home at Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ed Gilmore; and a granddaughter.
Surviving are his wife, Dorene; two sons, Lloyd Gilmore of Illinois and Randy of Licking; daughter, Glenna of Georgia; one sister, Iva Helvey of Bunker; best friend, Betty Dixon of Houston; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were Nov. 3 at the Bay Cemetery at Bunker with Ted Wisdom officiating under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
