Two persons were seriously injured Tuesday night when a truck hit a telephone pole east of Eunice, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. George Falterman said 1989 Toyota truck was southbound on Bearclaw Road when the mishap occurred. The trooper said the driver, Gregory L. Frampton, 43, of Summersville, left the scene. He is charged with DWI, leaving the scene of an accident and two counts of second-degree assault. Frampton was taken to TCMH with moderate injuries.
Two passengers had serious injuries: Diane L. Frampton, 42, of Summersville, was flown to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. Lenny Hebert, 39, of Summersville, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s.
The vehicle was totaled, Falterman said, who noted Gregory Frampton, who had moderate injuries, was wearing a seat belt and Hebert was not. It was unknown about the other passenger.
