Ruby Montgomery, 92, daughter of Frances Monroe and Rosetta Rebekah Coats Tilley, was born Dec. 14, 1915, at Bado. She died Dec. 22, 2007, at the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool.
She married Clyde Andrew Montgomery Aug. 9, 1923, at Houston. They had four children.
Mrs. Montgomery taught Sunday and Bible school for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one son, Verlyn “Woody”; brother, Albert Tilley; a grandson and great-grandson.
Surviving are three children, Sharon L. Bryant of Richland, James V. Montgomery of Cabool and Rosemary Brown of Salt Lake City, Utah; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 26 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Cabool. Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.
Memorials may be made to the First Free Will Baptist Church in Cabool in care of the funeral home.
