Wilbur “Wilma” Tune Smith, 93, daughter of Edward Dave Tune and Edna Alice Shelton Tune, was born Dec. 1, 1914, at Summersville. She died Dec. 19, 2007, at Murray Care Center at Murray, Utah, where she had lived since September.
She grew up on the Summersville area, moving to Pennsylvania and Oregon.
For the last 50 plus years, she lived in Murray, Utah.
She married Bill Haney. They had one son.
She later married Bill Smith.
Mrs. Smith owned and operated a beauty salon for many years, working until she became blind. She still liked to crochet and embroidery and make quilts for family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Smith; parents and brothers and sisters, Lewis, George, Bonnie, Uhl, Phyllis, Alice, Noy and Carl.
Surviving are her son, Carl Haney of Veil, Ore.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Dec. 22 a the Oakside Cemetery with the Rev. George Smith officiating under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
