Ruby Joe Broyles Jr., 27, son of Ruby Joe Broyles Sr. and Patricia “Patty” McIntosh Broyles, was born Aug. 3, 1980, at Springfield. He died Feb. 14, 2008, at Springfield.
He grew up in the Mountain Grove area and worked eight years at the Opportunity Sheltered Industries workshop at Houston.
He liked to help older people with jobs they needed done, go fishing and hunting and work with animals.
Surviving are his father of Mountain Grove; mother of Houston; three brothers, Scotty Broyles of Rolla, Darrell Broyles of Willow Springs and Steven McIntosh of Mountain View; one sister, Crystal Carson of Cabool; and his extended family at Lake’s Residential Care in Houston.
Services were Feb. 18 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Sholtz officiating. Burial was in the Pine Lawn Cemetery.
