Bill and Carla Sturdivan of Nixa announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Megan, to Lawrence Chatman Jr., son of Lawrence and Jeanne Chatman of Evening Shade.
Sturdivan is a senior at College of the Ozarks, majoring in elementary education.
Chatman attended College of the Ozarks and graduated from Missouri Welding Institute with state certification in five areas of welding. He is employed by Gold Mechanical in Springfield.
A May 17 wedding is planned at the College of the Ozarks Chapel at Point Lookout.
