Gary Earl Walker, 39, son of Tipton “Tip” and Betty Huff Walker, was born Nov. 19, 1968, at Springfield. He died March 21, 2008, at Springfield.
He married Marilyn Fay York March 3, 1990. They had two children.
Mr. Walker lived most of his life at Houston until moving to Rogersville.
He loved fishing, camping, hunting, being with his family and playing basketball with his best friend, Bobby Ellis or running around with his brother, Terry, and friend, Tim McClean.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Thomas and Blanche Huff and Paul and Effie Walker.
Surviving are his wife, son, Cyrus Walker, and daughter, Jessica Walker of Rogersville; mother of Licking; brother, Terry Walker of Licking; sister Audrey Collin of Dora; and Joey Korver of Thayer, who was like a son.
Memorial services are 2 o’clock Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with Janis Collins officiating.
