Robert Ray Dorsey Jr., 53, son of Robert Ray Dorsey Sr. and Betty Jo Dykstra, was born June 6, 1954, at Tucson, Ariz. He died March 5, 2008, at his home at Licking.
A native resident of Carson City, Nev., he served six years in the U.S. Navy as a sonarman petty officer.
Mr. Dorsey worked at LB&B Associates at Fort Leonard Wood.
He enjoyed walking in the woods and watching the wildlife.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy, of the home; two children, Alex and Jessica; four stepchildren, Josh Peck, Becky Peck, Alaina Peck and Nick Peck; brother, Glenn Dorsey; sister, Susan Lambert; and one grandson.
Memorial services were March 8 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel in Licking with Dr. Howell Burkhead and Harold Bruening officiating.
