TCMH Names Steelman as Employee of the Month

Frank Steelman of Houston was named Texas County Memorial Hospital’s February employee of the month.

An employee of TCMH for seven years, Steelman is known for his excellent attitude and professionalism. He is a paramedic in the EMS department.

“Frank is able to run the department in my absence,” said Bill Bridges, emergency medical services director. “He also spends extra time in the emergency department caring for patients and assisting the nurses.”

Bridges noted that Steelman is “very positive” and “a team leader.” In addition to his paramedic duties, Steelman teaches healthcare classes and assists paramedic students in studying for their paramedic exam.

As employee of the month, Steelman received a certificate honoring his achievement; a pin; $100 cash; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a membership in the TCMH Fitness Center; a $50 gift card; a gift certificate to D&L Florist and CD of the month from KUNQ.

A reception is planned at the hospital in honor of Steelman, who is eligible for the 2008 TCMH employee of the year award.
