Edmond Dale Pinkston, 71, son of Obediah and Mary Ruth Pinkston, was born March 25, 1937, at Wendell, Idaho. He died April 12, 2008, at Plato.
He joined the U.S. Air Force Oct. 21, 1955, serving until Oct. 20, 1959. He was an airman second class and received a Good Conduct Medal.
He married Barbara Biram June 14, 1969. They had three sons.
Mr. Pinkston was a longtime resident of Plato and member of the Roby Christian Church.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren, reading, traveling and computers.
He was preceded in death by his parents
Surviving are his wife of the home at Plato; his children, Richard Reidy of Boston, Mass., Michael Pinkston of Springfield and Randy Pinkston of Competition; sisters, Dianne Ingalls of Plato and Cheryl Haney of Roby; brother, Dean Pinkston of Houston; and eight grandchildren.
Services were April 15 at the Roby Christian Church with Paul Hamm and Brian Ingalls officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Lane Cemetery at Success.
