Alexa Ichord won the 200-meter dash to lead the Houston seventh grade girls’ fourth place finish last Wednesday at Mountain Grove.
Kayla Herndon was second in the 1600 and third in the 75-meter hurdles. Sadie Ashworth threw the shot put 26 feet, 7 inches to finish third, and Kenzie Scheets was third in the discus with a toss of 62-6.
Drake Bell tied for first in the 100 and was second in the 200 for the seventh grade boys, who finished sixth.
Austin Bathon placed second in the 100 hurdles and fifth in the 400. Forest Nunnery was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 31-7.
Carmen Floyd finished second in the high jump and Lauren Hoover placed second in the 200 and 400 for the eighth grade girls, who finished sixth.
Jacob York was fourth in the 100 hurdles for the eighth grade boys, who placed 10th.
